NEXPLANON® (etonogestrel implant)

Request training

Before you can prescribe, order, or administer NEXPLANON, Merck requires you to complete the Clinical Training Program for NEXPLANON.

If you have previously trained on the administration of IMPLANON® (etonogestrel implant) and/or NEXPLANON, you may be eligible for Web-based training.

If you have not yet been trained on either IMPLANON or NEXPLANON, you must complete a company-sponsored, three-hour, hands-on workshop where you will receive training on NEXPLANON insertion and removal procedures.

This Clinical Training Program is available only to U.S. clinicians authorized to perform medical procedures, as evidenced by a State License number or a Medical Education (ME) number. You must be an advanced practice clinician or a physician in order to attend. Students may not register for this training.

Please note that the Clinical Training Program for NEXPLANON is not CME credited.
